TIP 1
Getting fresh air and if possible going for a daily walk is not only good for the body but it clears and refreshes the mind. If you have a leafy area nearby, nature will work to help to still your mind and oxygenate your body. Also open the windows and make sure you get daily fresh air, stagnant air makes the body acidic. Even better go outside and take some deep breath in a green space (doing the breathing exercises that I will write about over the course of time)
Do some reading about the acid alkaline balance of the body. Certain foods and beverages are more alkaline than others. For instance good quality tap water is more alkaline than soda water. Talking about good quality tap water, as our bodies are approx 60 % water, it makes sense to give yourself the best water available. Unfortunately not many of us have a pristine spring of water to draw water from, being more reliant on the municipal supply which could have additives such as fluoride and other chemicals. At the very least a good water filter jug is advisable to remove chemicals and other solids from the water. You will notice the difference when you make a cup of tea that there will be no film on the surface.
